This pipe appears to be strongly influenced by both Tom Eltang and Bo Nordh. The consignor stated that Reis worked with Nordh and we know he moved from Portugal to live in Denmark. This beautiful piece is unsmoked, has an open draw and is well constructed with the draft opening right at the bottom of the bowl. Although it is not a big pipe, the chamber capacity will provide for a smoke that is at least average in length and probably longer.
