As you may have already discerned if you looked at the photos, I’d like to sell these as a pair. I’d also like to date Scarlett Johansson, but that’s another story, isn’t it? Each of these is a Pearl, the highest Larsen grade, and they were made, it is said by their owner (who I know to be a most upstanding, honest person…truly) that they were made by Jesse Chonowitsch when he worked for Larsen. If you look at the great carving of each, it is very easy to believe, and hard to imagine who else might have made these pipes. They are each Grp. 5 size, have wide-open draws, have vulcanite stems and are unsmoked, so their conditions are excellent. They also come in a very handsome, high quality leather two-pipe case. The case, however, is not original…it is a Ser Jacopo case. Since the sizes are so similar, I will provide the data data from just one of them and you can consider that the other is very close, if not quite exactly the same. OK?
